Josh Coleman is an award-winning musician whose music has been used on Keeping Up With the Kardashians; NBC’s Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, The Night Shift; ABC’s Fresh Off the Boat, Mistresses; Showtimes’s Shameless; Netflix’s Longmire; The Discovery Channel’s Biker Live, plus shows for E!, CW, Oxygen and Bravo networks. His songs have been recorded by Windham Hill artist Barbara Higbie and Olivia Records’ artist Teresa Trull. He has written soundtracks for Bay Area plays and for the documentary, Center of the Storm. Recently, he composed music for an art installation in the San Francisco Financial District, Sound of Emotion that was later featured at the Yerba Buena Art Center.

Coleman was admitted to the San Francisco Conservatory of Music to study music composition under Pulitzer Prize Winner, John Adams.

In addition to his music, Coleman is a critically acclaimed author and psychologist who is a frequent guest on NPR and The Today Show. He has also appeared on the BBC, Sesame Street, Good Morning America, 20/20, and PBS. He’s the author of 4 books which have been published in China, Korea, Croatia, Australia, and the UK.
